Aer arann was established in the 1970’s flying from Galway to the Aran Islands.  In 1994 the airline was purchased by Padraig O’Ceidigh and ground work was put in place for it to become a feeder air service for Ireland and the UK.  Today it’s one of the worlds fastest growing regional airlines.  Currently operating over 600 flights a week across 35 routes in Ireland, the UK and France.  In 2006 12 new routes were launched half of which are UK services including Cork to Cardiff and New Quay, Galway to Liverpool, Dublin to Inverness and the newly announced Cardiff to Dublin and Galway.
