August Bank Holiday Weekend 2010
The all inclusive weekend for the Flanders Field Tour 2010 - Flanders Fields Remebrance Tour,
starts at 16.00hrs. on Friday the 29th August at the Novotel Hotel, Ieper (the Hotel is just off the
Main Square) and concludes on Sunday 30th August at 18.00hrs. The Kemmel Historic Comite is
offering Hotel & Entry for 375Euros per person based on two people sharing or 425Euros per
person for a Single. The organizers are accepting 30 Entries for the VIP Weekend and an extra
50 Entries available for the Sunday Scenic Tour.
Day One : Arrive Novotel - Ieper, guarded parking at the Hotel, exclusive gift given from the organization, Welcome
Toast at Hotel, 3-Course Dinner with appropriate drinks. A comprehensive tour book (tulip roadbook)
detailing your route, accommodation and everything to do, see and visit each day.
Day Two : Breakfast, Guided visit of Ypres. Visit to ' In Flanders Fields Museum '. Hevellands Buffett meal with
regional (Beligan) beer at Hotel ' De Hollemeersch '. Scenic Tours - at personal rhythym and speed -
rural roads - World War I. Tea Break and visit to Museum ' Passendael 1917 ' at Zonnebeke. Special
VIP Last Post Ceremony (VIP places & laying wreaths at the Menin Gate Monument) 4 Course Dinner
with appropriate drinks.
Day Three : Breakfast, Scenic Tours - at personal rhythm and speed - rural roads - World War 1. Drink & Flemish
3- Course Menu and visit to Museum - Farewell Drink.
