We have set this site up as a portal for info on all Belgium Rallying past and present.
In my humble opinion the greatest years were the cigarette years when all the major brands had cars competing in the series as well as the European Rally Championship.
My first experience of European Rallying was Ypres in the early 90`s. Snijers - Droogmans - Duez were at their peak. I fell in love with the old school group A
cars with the noise and flames that make you tingle.
We have been lucky enough to compete in the last group A Escort Cosworth Driven by Snijers the last few years.

The end of the group A era was coming at the start of 1997 with Ford, Subaru & Toyota developing World Rally cars.
Patrick Snijers used a Group A Escort for the last time in Bastos livery on 97 Boucles Des Spa. This was the first event for Snijers away from the very successful RAS sport Team. Many parts from the car were transferred to the Escort WRC he used the rest of the year.
